STA Engineer, Body

STA is under Ford Supply chain org. This position handles supplier sites located in China who's supplying parts to Ford global. Main job is Project development, Quality performance and maintaining supplier sites' Q1 compliance, 

Job Responsibility:
• Support SRA (supplier risk assessment) with robust data to complete sourcing process.
• Drive flawless products launches through maintaining eAPQP, Capacity Planning and
Verification, Phased PPAP, AIMS relating supplier's process, etc.
• Drive continuous improvement from supplier sites by utilizing Q1 MSA, Health Chart, CQI, Lean, 6sigma, G8D, etc.
• Manage critical suppliers to achieve and maintain Q1, and high quality performance from supplier sites.
• Maintain Q1 compliance for assigned suppliers, like SIM, eMSA, ePSW, eAPQP, AIMS, QOS, GCP, BSAQ, etc.
• Drive closure of Quality issues due to supplier process like QRs, Stop Build, BSAQ, SS/FSA, etc. in time as required time frame.

Qualifications Required:
• Bachelor of Science/ Engineering, or academic equivalent
• 5+ years automotive working experience with frequent use of English, both speaking and writing
• Good at Quality tools like APQP, PPAP, SPC, GR&R, G8D, 6 sigma, Lean, etc.
• Basic Knowledge of manufacturing process like GD&T, molding, coating, plating, welding, stamping, machining, SMT, Assembly, EOL, etc. 
• Available for frequent trip.
