Deputy Manager - Debts & Derivatives

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our Treasury Operations team as Deputy Manager - Debts & Derivatives.  This role is crucial in managing the middle-office (MO) and back-office (BO) teams who perform activities globally with regards to Debts and Derivatives. 

• Handle daily vital and critical activities for Debt, Swap, Fixed Income, FX and Commodities.

• Ensure accurate and timely confirmation and settlement of all the financial transactions.

• Lead from the front in managing the post-trade processing, including reconciliations, payment processing, and documentation.

• Assess the situation (IT System failure (WSS), SWIFT interface failure etc.,) and invoke Business Continuity Plan (BCP) on any given day to ensure all Ford Motor Company Debts, SWAP, Fixed Income, FX and Commodity trades are settled within the cut time

• Ensure effective communication and coordination between MOBO, and other departments – Trading, Debts and Capital Markets (DCM), Affiliates, Cash Desks, IT and Business Support.

• Manage banking relationships with custodian bank and other counterparty banks.

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation for all transactions to comply with internal policies.

• Coordinate with Accounting, Business Support, Front Office, MOBO and Cash teams to ensure smooth month close.

• Prepare monthly KPIs on the debt and derivatives teams.

• CMA/CA/MBA minimum 5-6 years of experience in treasury with a focus on debt and derivatives.

• Proven track record performing MO and BO activities in a financial services environment.

• Experience with Treasury Management Systems and financial software.
