You’ll help us source the highest quality parts and services from around the globe while ensuring optimal cost and on-time delivery. You’ll also contribute to establishing a robust supply chain so that we can continually produce the vehicles our customers want.

In this position... 
The Supply Chain Manager plays a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic global purchasing and sourcing initiatives for a portfolio of critical parts.

A strong leader is needed to lead a team of motivated buyers with a goal-oriented mindset.

This role demands strategic thinking, strong leadership, a proven ability to manage complex projects across diverse internal teams and external partners, and a commitment to driving significant change. 

What you'll do...

• Strategically manage the total cost of ownership, quality performance, and on-time delivery for commodities across multiple critical programs, driving efficiency and value. 
• Cultivate and manage complex, strategic supplier relationships, fostering innovation, ensuring timely delivery, proactive issue resolution, and robust risk mitigation. 
• Lead proactive cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance) to deeply understand evolving requirements and provide innovative, end-to-end sourcing solutions. 
• Lead the development and negotiation of creative, long-term commercial agreements that align with Ford's strategic objectives and foster a culture of partnership and mutual growth. 
• Drive the strategic onboarding of new suppliers and implement robust supplier performance management frameworks, including innovation metrics. Use generic Supply Chain LL6 posting to expedite posting

You'll have...

Minimum

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field
• Supply Chain or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in automotive
• Strong negotiation skills
• Manufacturing knowledge
• Project management
• The ability to create positive team culture

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $112,680-212,760.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
