We are seeking a visionary Senior Advanced Feature Manager to lead the development of cutting-edge autonomous driving technologies, including Advanced Driving and High Level autonomous systems for China local and IMG market. This role focuses on both in-house and collaborating with top-tier industry partners for the end-to-end development of advanced driver assistance systems, from concept to validation. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strategic leadership to deliver scalable, safe, and innovative solutions.
Product Definition:
-Define feature requirements based on market trends, customer needs, and regulatory requirements
-Develop product roadmaps and technical specifications, Lead cross-functional teams in feature prioritization and trade-off analysis
Feature Development:
-Oversee the entire development lifecycle from design to implementation
-Ensure compliance with automotive standards and Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Validation & Verification:
-Develop comprehensive test strategies and validation plans and Lead system integration testing, HIL/SIL testing, and vehicle-level validation
-Ensure features meet functional safety and performance requirements and Manage issue tracking and resolution throughout the V&V process
Group/Project Management:
-Manage technical teams including software, hardware, and systems engineers
-Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation, Track project progress and report to senior management and Ensure on-time delivery of features meeting quality standards
Education Qualification
· Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering or related fields.
No. of Years of Experience
· 10+ years in autonomous systems, robotics, or automotive software development.
· 5+ years in leadership roles delivering high level autonomous features (e.g., Highway NoA, City NoA).
· Proven track record in cross-organizational collaboration (OEMs, startups, academia).
Professional Exposure
(Technical Skills)
· Advanced knowledge of ADAS tech stack technologies.
· Expertise in embedded software development (C++/Python, ROS/ROS2, AUTOSAR).
· Familiarity with Simulation tools (CARLA, NVIDIA DRIVE Sim, MATLAB/Simulink).
Preferred previous experiences
· Led the development and deployment of high level autonomous driving systems .
· Published research or patents in autonomy, sensor fusion, or robotics.
· Worked in cross-functional environments integrating AI, hardware, and safety-critical systems.
Functional Skills
· Technical Leadership: Ability to define roadmaps, allocate resources, and mentor engineers.
· Project Management: Proven track record in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
· Regulatory Compliance: Experience with functional safety, SOTIF, and cybersecurity standards.
· Stakeholder Management: Skilled in aligning technical teams with business/partner priorities.
· Validation & Testing: Expertise in SIL/HIL/VIL testing, scenario-based validation, and failure mode analysis.
